Courses
 To
ride a motorbike in category A (121cc - 125cc and
capable of a least 100kph/62.5mph) you have to be over
the age of 17 and hold the provisional entitlement 'A'
on your licence. You will also have to complete a
CBT
to be able to ride on the road. However you cannot
carry passengers, must use L-plates and you are unable
to ride on the motorway until you have passed your
practical test. Once you have passed your practical test
you will be restricted to a motorbike with a 25kw(33bhp)
for two years, after that time you can apply to have
your licence upgraded to ride any size motorbike on the
road.
Direct Access Courses
To ride a motorbike in category A for
direct access (500cc and with an engine of at least
35kw/46.6bhp) you must be over the age of 21 and hold a
provisional entitlement 'A' on your licence. You will
also need to complete a CBT course to be able to ride on
the road, however until you pass your practical test you
cannot carry passengers, must use L-plates, and you will
be unable to ride on the motorway. You will also be
restricted to riding a motorbike up a 125cc with a power
output of 11kw/14.6bhp whilst you are riding on the road
and not accompanied by an Instructor. Once you have
passed your practical test you will be able to ride any
size of motorbike without any restrictions.
Residential Courses
If you do not
live within the Chichester area why not come on one of
our
residential courses. You can stay in a local bed and
breakfast for as little as £40.00 per night.
All intensive driving courses are planned in logical
steps dependent on your overall ability. That is to say
that we will customise the driving course to suit your
needs exactly, therefore providing you with the best
possible opportunity of completing the course and
passing your test.
If you would like to attend one of our Residential
Intensive Driving Courses we are able to book
accommodation in
Chichester
. To take advantage of this course, you must have
already passed your Theory Test (this can be booked by
ringing 08700 101372). If you have not already
taken a CBT Course this can be done by adding an extra
day to the course at a further charge.
